Karen's Carpet Sales Inc. has been family owned and operated since 1977. John and Karen Rosser, the original owners, sold the family floor covering business to Dean and Brenda Wilson in August 1985 after a fire destroyed to building. At that time, Dean and Brenda Wilson had five children that ranged in age from seven to twenty five years old. From 1985 thru 1993 all of the children at one time or another has worked in the family business.
Deon Wilson, the oldest of the children, began working in the outside sales building shortly after the business has been purchased. He has developed great relationships with home builders and helping with new construction homes. In recent years, he has worked with builders and contractors that have included many projects in the Parade of Homes.
In 1994, Mark Wilson began working full time in inside sales and helping assist with walk-in traffic.
Today, Deon and Mark Wilson, along with their spouses Nancy and Heather, are working just as hard today to make sure that they help people across the East Tennessee area find flooring that fits there every need.
